The creepy conservative obsession with pedophilia is just bizarre. It reminds me of the feminist obsession with rape. Yes, sex offending is real, & it's awful. But imagine choosing to spend your time fixating on it..?

Pointing out that there may be a moral panic about issue X is not the same thing as arguing that X is good, or even that we shouldn't be concerned about X.

It's the obsession with it that I find creepy. Am not arguing that pedophilia or it's normalisation isn't creepy--it is.

But if you want to actually make a difference go & join the federal police. Arrest some people.
