Prosecutors have a constitutional requirement to inform defendants of problematic behavior by law enforcement officers. It brings a level of transparency to our criminal justice system rather than enabling bad actors.
Arizona has no centralized Brady list and it wasn’t until @ABC15 and @DaveBiscobing15 put together a database that we saw the depth of the problem in our state.
I am dedicated to bringing criminal justice reform and long-overdue transparency to the MCAO.

This includes creating an updated, public Brady list and data sharing with other county jurisdictions to make our state safer.
It is both possible to support law enforcement and hold them to the highest possible standards.
We have to restore honesty and integrity to this office.

Our system of justice must be fair and give the most marginalized in our community an equal voice.
