Up until now, 2020 has been an absolute shit year for me.

I can't count how many times I felt like giving up.

From pending layoff, to covid, to working from home and trying to homeschool my kids... I've felt defeated more times than I can count.

I took a big leap and

decided to purchase my first home. I went through the pre approval process and found a home that I absolutely fell in love with.

As of the first of this month, I'm officially under contract.

It took me 36 years to get to this point but... I got there.

Tonight, I'm feeling blessed.

In just 8 short years, I've gone from a hopeless drug addicted woman to a hard working woman/mom ready to buy her first home home.

Me. Myself. I.

I guess what I'm saying is this..

Never give up. It doesn't matter how many times you fall...

What matters is that you keep getting up.

Today I'm proud of the woman I am and what I've accomplished.

I never dreamed that I'd be able to purchase a home by myself, but here I am.

If I can do it... So can you...

Never ever give up. Your past doesn't define your future.

Instead of just existing, I live. I hope the same for each and every one of you.
