The most surreal part of living through a fascist coup is that we're not even talking about it as such.
Trump: Elections are fraudulent, anti-fascism is a crime, my supporters kill protesters, federal officials should suppress my political opponents, and I plan to stay in office indefinitely.

The Press: "In a series of unusual moves, President Trump has broken the model..."
Trump is blatantly threatening to use the military to put down a popular uprising after he ignores the results of the election.

Sounds a lot like something a fascist would do! It would be great for journalists to say so. https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1306349008663777280
One of the most surreal parts of the slow motion coup: we have to operate as if normal/democratic politics are still on-going, while we prepare for a breakdown in the constitutional order.

Very, very strange stuff.
