I haven't played Resident Evil 5 since the day that the UK government announced a nationwide lockdown on the 23rd of March 2020. So, I was thinking, how many times could Chris Redfield punch a boulder since this lockdown started. A thread;
As established already, lockdown officially started on the 23rd of March 2020. That means that there has been 177 days since lockdown began from the very start until now, the 16th of September 2020.
Using this eleven year old video as reference (), I needed to deduce how quickly Chris Redfield's juicy arms could take a swing at that rock. I downloaded the video to get a more accurate reading.
Taking the video into Vegas, we can see that Chris begins the startup animation of the swing on the 333rd frame & makes contact with the boulder 13 frames later. So, we'll use this as our example.
13 frames at 30 FPS or 0.433 seconds. Given that there are 86400 seconds in a day then Chris should be able to punch this boulder 199538 times per day. There have been 177 days since lockdown so that's 199538 x 177 or 35318226.
Since the 23rd of March 2020, the start of the UK lockdown, Chris has been able to punch this boulder ✨thirty-five million three hundred eighteen thousand two hundred twenty-six✨times. That's some good punching.
