There must have been a better week to announce a Harry Potter game

I don't really understand the take I'm seeing a lot of "I would boycott it but I don't want to punish all the other artists who worked on it!" like well, that's what a boycott is though. Like it you boycott cinnabon for something the ceo does you're boycotting all the rollmakers

I have empathy for people who don't want to boycott mainly because it seems extremely futile - JKR can't be "fired" and even if she could she would never in her lifetime feel the affects of it financially. But idk "supporting the devs" doesn't ring true as a reason

Also idk a lot of lgbt people like this franchise she's inextricably attached to, even on projects she was prob only involved with in a legal sense. I'm seeing a lot of people donating to charities to compensate. Or uhh used games? Can you still buy games used in 2020?
