1/3 We highly encourage @NiagaraRegion Council to extend the mask by-law. The wearing of masks is critical to keep the transmission of COVID-19 down in the community, which will help to protect health services @niagarahealth

2/3 We do not want to be in a position where we need to ramp down services or reduce access to visitors again, and ask everyone to do their part. We know there is pandemic fatigue, but the virus is not done with us yet.

3/3 That means adhering at all times to the important public health measures that were so instrumental in combatting the first wave of COVID-19 - masking, physical distancing & handwashing. These are the best measures we have to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
