Trump wants you to grade his coronavirus on a curve where more than 2 million Americans would've died without his leadership. Totally absurd.
Trump ludicrously claims that public health measures to slow the spread of coronavirus in blue states are "hurting people far more than the disease itself." It's like he's trying to kill people.
Trump wants you to believe that the Swine Flu was just as bad as the coronavirus. I am old enough to report that it was not, and I can't believe anybody older than 18 years old with a functioning memory would believe otherwise.
Trump throws the CDC under the bus, says Dr. Redfield "made a mistake" during his testimony on Wednesday when he said a Covid vaccine might not be available until well in 2021
LOL. Trump is surprised and dismayed to learn that the government has rules against forcing private companies to give money to the Treasury as a condition of a sale
Trump threatens military force against rioters on election night: "We will put it down very, very quickly if there is. And I think the American public wants to see that."
"There's going to be fraud all over the place" -- Trump goes on a lengthy, angry, unhinged rant against mail voting (this came in response to a question about using force to put down rioters on election night)
"I read the [Woodward] book last night, very rapidly" -- Trump says yesterday on Fox & Friends that he read it the night before. So at least one of the those statements is a lie (likely both are)
"Blood all over the sand" -- drink!
Donald Trump really thinks he knows more about public health than the director of the CDC. This is the second time he's tried to correct different parts of Director Redfield's testimony during this press briefing. Tragicomical.
"When I called up Robert [Redfield] today, I said to him, 'what's with the masks?' He said, 'I think I answered that question incorrectly.'" -- Trump on the CDC director's congressional testimony
Trump says that Joe Biden wears a mask because he doesn't want "to expose his face," not to set an example for the country or to slow the spread of Covid
"I am the one who got football back," says the guy whose coronavirus bungling caused it to be delayed in the first place
"If we didn't test, we wouldn't have cases. We would have no cases" -- Trump seems to think that Covid testing causes Covid cases, which is about the dumbest thing in world history
This is just absolutely insane stuff. Completely bonkers. There aren't words for how unhinged the president is.
Trump is out here making up calls from world leaders who purportedly privately praise his coronavirus response
Kayleigh McEnany confirms that there was a positive Covid test among a White House staffer, but Trump quickly points out that "it was not anybody that was near me" as if he's the only person in the world that matters
