I& #39;ve asked probably a hundred people who hate the movie Cuties and want to see it cancelled this question:

"Have you seen the movie?"

Not a single person had watched the movie.

Not one.
And it persists.

They have not seen the movie.
Don& #39;t want to see the movie.
Don& #39;t know what the movie& #39;s about.
Don& #39;t want anybody else to see the movie.
And will call anybody who does a pedophile.

It& #39;s an unfathomably toxic cocktail of ignorance and abusiveness.
This scene is at the beginning of the film at their school, before Amy was part of the Cuties. They& #39;d organised a flash mob & got in trouble for it. Angie, the girl with the long straight hair, was hollering "Freedom of speech! Freedom of speech!" as the principal hauled her off.
This is at the train tracks where they rehearsed right after Amy joined. At this point they were more like precocious Spice Girls, not twerkers. Their goal was to beat out a better, older group who would flash a boob in a video. All three girls were pretty aggressive.
Amy at the beginning, before meeting Angie, the leader of the Cuties. She& #39;s at a prayer meeting with her mother & her "auntie" who was sort of the priestess.

The priestess told them to obey their men.

Amy& #39;s dad had just married a second wife & was flying her back to Paris.
One afternoon, while the foursome was innocently trying to coax a boy into showing his dick on his webcam (he refused & called them names), the girls became aggressive, cussed the guy out, and Angie (L) broke Yasmine& #39;s (R) laptop.

So Angie kicked Yasmine out of the group.
I think this scene is after the fight. Angie and Amy lived in the same building, which is how they first met. Angie was dirty dancing in the laundry room where she thought nobody was looking, but Amy saw her.

Here, in the dryer, Amy asks to join the Cuties.
This was right after the most scary-ass part of the film, where we think Amy is about to suffer FGM at the hands of her auntie.

I can& #39;t fit the setup here, but I sat straight up on the edge of my seat. Chills.

Turns out, Amy was just supposed to help cook for the wedding.
Just deleted a post on this thread from some weirdo who had only created his account this month.

"When do you think they will get you?
Do you hope it& #39;s quick?"

The avatar was some anime cartoon character.
On the left is a still from what is one of the most controversial scenes, the final dance.

These are the costumes that bashers claim stepped over the line (right top).

R-bottom pic is a promo from a mainstream cable show that ran for eight years with little or no outcry.
Suffice it to say, Cuties is the kind of movie where people see what they want to see.

There is a ghost in the movie, too.

Few people saw it---or mentioned it---and its meaning is open to interpretation...which is another reason I& #39;ve grown to love this film.
Watching the 2nd time, I see that I misunderstood some scenes. It& #39;s as if I& #39;m watching a slightly different tale.

There is the infamous scene where, in desperation, Amy takes a pic of her vagina and uploads it.

I forgot the part where her friends berated her afterwards.
A confusing part of the story, to the western mind, was the wedding.

Amy& #39;s dad married a 2nd time. Bigamy. He had refurbished a room for he and his new bride, but the rest of the apartment was left in the ramshackle style of a tenement for Amy & her mom, who& #39;d still live there.
Here& #39;s a (bad) picture of the ghost.

This represents the extremity of the Muslim heritage to which her mother and auntie are trying to make Amy conform.

Amy sees this shortly before the final controversial dance contest, the western extreme & mirror image of Amy& #39;s predicament.
Or was it a ghost?

It may have been Amy& #39;s father& #39;s new wife, his second wife, hiding in their new, luxurious bedroom.
This, below, again and again, and again.

God damn them.
"Leave her alone! That& #39;s enough! Leave her alone!"
