I am conceptualizing an #AltAC virtual workshop series focused on helping doctoral students in the field of human communication to pursue robust careers outside of the tenure-track job search.

I could use your wisdom (a thread):

Are you or do you know folks who might be especially poised for involvement that are in one or more of these areas:
Nonprofit
Government
Politics
Ideally they have a:
* communication PhD
* robust and monetarily sustaining career
* passion for mentoring & sharing practical tips

TIA for your input. And, fyi, likely speakers already onboard for the project include a professional ethnographer, Microsoft researcher, academic curriculum designer/administrator, and corporate consultant and coach. I'm pretty excited about how it's coming together.
