In total seriousness: the chasm between the gift of prophecy, as empowered by the Holy Ghost, and diviners seeking access to esoteric, forbidden, and/or future knowledge is vast, immeasurable, and categorically different.

When a believer comes to you and speaks the words of the Holy Ghost as supernatural edification, you feel like you can stand on your feet (if you don't fall to the ground weeping in prayer and repentance);

But with this stuff, you'll either go away empty... ... or... ...

Another important distinction: the gift of prophecy is *rarely* about "the future"; it is usually about the Lord calling to Himself that which He has placed inside of you for His own glory, and encouraging you to walk in those gifts.

Divination is about... well... you. Blech.
