Hey do you reckon Amy McGrath would be doing better against Mitch McConnell if literally any of Mitch's ethical violations or crimes were not taboo to mention?
Just spitballlin' here, but, if I apply my general "Let's tell the voters that our opponents are crooks" theory here, it seems like maybe refraining from even filing ethics charges on Mitch could be the culprit, in terms of voters not knowing he's a crook.
Now, I realize my strategy is *very* controversial, and that the accepted conventional wisdom is that we should NOT tell voters about our opponents being crooks, and instead help the opponents hide this fact about themselves, but just give my theory some consideration, thanks.
PS: Some of these crooks are also national security threats that make us vulnerable to Russia but are above all counterintelligence oversight because we are supposed to be that oversight. Okay thanks.
