I've never stated we need to abolish the police. Do I think we need reform? Absolutely. Do I think we need to add support staff to our departments so our LEOs can do their jobs without also having to be social workers, mental health counselors, and dog catchers? Also yes.
I also don't support corporate welfare. In fact, I have a whole policy paper on how Rhode Island families have borne the brunt of an unfair tax system while the wealthy don't pay their fair share. I'll change that. You can read about it here.

I also have no problem with the 2nd Amendment. My focus is on gun safety and gun violence. I advocate for safe storage and increased mental health initiatives, including suicide prevention for our veterans. None of this should be an issue for law abiding gun owners.
I've been running on a platform to end cronyism in our GA. It is puzzling to me that my opponent would accuse me of aligning with those she calls corrupt when she has voted to support the very leadership she's now criticizing. There's some serious projection going on here, folks.
What has my opponent accomplished? Mostly nothing. Though she always seems to court controversy. Like the time she said all Muslims want to rape and murder Americans. Even more concerning, especially amid today's news that 2/3 of young Americans don't believe that over 6 million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust, that she would try to block educators from teaching about White Supremacy. I mean, I think the choice is pretty clear. Vote for the lies, racism, and fear mongering, or vote for someone who actually cares about our communities, and who can coalesce with a governing majority to finally pass legislation that will benefit hard working Rhode Islanders.
And for someone who claims to be concerned about fiscal responsibility she's had no problem being a seat warmer for 6 years, unable to accomplish meaningful + measurable change for our communities, while collecting a paycheck on the taxpayer's dime. I'm tired of this. Aren't you?
And just because liars make me feel petty, I’d also like to note that Morgan’s mailer seems to neglect the fact that she represents the voters of West Greenwich too.
