I& #39;ve learned that it& #39;s better for everyone that I not post about things that are divisive, about things I see on our timeline that are loud to us but lost on others, etc.

Here& #39;s the thing...
Everyone SHOULD and has every right to post how they feel, about the things they care about, and to mute, block, or ignore the things they don& #39;t.
Just because we all love one band does not mean we all have to feel the same way about them or each other. (2)

But as humans and as grown adults, I feel like we should also want to hold space for one another and that we should want to see a big picture. Putting energy toward having big feelings about someone we don& #39;t know or someone we don& #39;t vibe with is exhausting. No one deserves that.
We allllll have our differences and we are definitely not going to all like each other, but I& #39;ve personally seen too many people lately hurt and / or angry about subtweets, misconstrued stories, and assumptions.
Can& #39;t we all just talk to each other instead of around each other?

There are SO. MANY. GOOD. PEOPLE. in this fandom. There is literally someone (and more) for everyone.
And let me tell you, when bad things happen, this fan-mily steps up. It doesn& #39;t matter who you had words with once upon a time - they& #39;re there. It& #39;s something special. (5)

If I didn& #39;t believe in us as fans, I wouldn& #39;t care about any of this.
If I didn& #39;t believe a band brought all of us together for a reason, I wouldn& #39;t be typing this.
We hold so much power. Imagine what we could do if we agreed to disagree with some & worked together for better.

Am I saying to ignore things? Absolutely not. Just saying we should maybe listen as much as we talk and we should perhaps let go of the things and people who don& #39;t align with our own thinking.
