For lunch they had dakgalbi (grill/stir fried spicy chicken) & naengmyeon (cold noodles). They added spice to theirs

VeganOpt🌱: use pressed tofu or tempeh for the dakgalbi. For the noodles omit the meat & use veggies stock

Now for dinner the boys had flatfish sushi 🍣 , Jin thought it would be genius to put wasabi between the fish & rice it was its just he was a bit heavy handed with it 😆

Now for Chef Min’s Doenjangguk or soybean paste stew, his first time making it and he had some tricks up his chef’s hat !! He just kept adding what he can find in terms of veggies 🤣

History: After the war a lot of poor Koreans were chicken farmers, thus dak-galbi was created. The dish incorporated cheap, copious ingredients, creating something hearty & comforting that brought people together. You can see Yoongi separating the veggies from the meat to cook.
