he is posting his TEN contracts (very illegal)and saying things like “they will be free” which implies that music artists are held down with lots of ties and treated like slaves.

IN SHORT : kanye is trying to expose the industry which is very risky bc people who own the bigs labels have a lot of money and power and control the media. you can make jokes about kanye all you want but what he is doing is a big thing for everyone in the music industry.
people like one direction, 5SOS, fifth harmony, taylor swift, katy perry, and many others have all been effected by these contracts. he also said that a lot of artists cannot do what he is doing bc the consequences they would have to face with their careers would ruin them.
