I won't lie to you guys, I've been missing having musicians performing live in the @bbcrb White Room Studio as House Band of the Week on @BBCUpload... So I've decided to have a nostalgic look back through some live session videos. Here are some of my faves!

One of the most catchy tunes has to be from the ska-funk band @humfuzzboys! This track is a beauty!

If you love ballards, then this will be right up your street. @HarmerJays performed his track 'How Sweet' so effortlessly in the White Room. Incredibly alluring vocals too.

After a bit of Brit-pop indie brilliance? Then the @Cheekboneband1 boys from Weston-super-Mare can get your foot tapping with the stripped back version of their track 'Window'.

While we're talking about talent from Weston-super-Mare, let's take you on a smooth jazz journey with @MarvTheJazzman with his track about the town. 'Wandering in Weston' is a joy!

Sorry to all the other artists who have sent music in, but this is my FAVOURITE track that has EVER been submitted. @LukeMarshallB has the most incredible voice, this track is blissful, plus he brought a string trio into the White Room especially...

If you were to ask me who is gunna make it big, it's these guys. @realmakefriends are joyous to be around, humble, wonderful humans! This is their track 'Ellie' which is pure banger when you hear the full thing, but this acoustic version is class too!

Let's talk about LENN... She's got a voice that can be delicate but can really soar too! Watch 'Off My Mind' to see what I mean!

You want LOUD? Well... it's gotta be the three-piece punk soldiers @DROOGSBristol with 'Backroom' which is a belter of a track. Listen to this on a big speaker or some good headphones. Don't blame me if they blow your ears off though. It's what they do!!

Something chilled and reflective? I've got just the thing. I learned so much from @joshdoughtykora. He's incredibly fascinating and his music allows you to lose yourself for a moment.

One man who has a voice like nothing else and can play magical keys. @lebomj98 is talented beyond his years. I'll never forget him playing me his track 'Atmosphere' for the first time infront of his college peers - I was stunned by the beauty of it.

Pop-meets-country delivered by a songwriter who shouldn't be this mature for her years. @IsobelHolly smashed her live session version of 'Ropes' - her album is a masterpiece too!

If you're going to make a record, make it on your lunch break at the top of a crane 30 meters above sea level like @spencer_flay did! One of the most charming blokes I've met. This session is class too!

You want brass? Check this out for brass. @nicholsonheal smashed the live session version of 'Talk of the Town Paranoia' which is warm and cosy with beautiful vocals too.

These guys are my perfect Sunday morning lazing on the sofa sort of playlist. Chilled and mellow while having a bright and harmonious feel to them. @twodaycoma with 'Happy For Now'.

YES! The @farebrotherband boys did a classic session that will fill you with the familiarity of Arctic Monkeys with the nostalgia of T Rex or Led Zep. Give 'A Satirical Miracle' a listen to see what I mean.

Remember that time we had an ENTIRE MUSICAL on the radio and it was wonderful? Check this out if you've got kids. A musical by @brooktatearts all about a giraffe

The most memorable live session we've ever had has to be the one we did with @jamiecruick in a hot air balloon floating over Bristol. He sang 'I Can See Totterdown' while we could actually see Totterdown. Complete with balloon burner sound effects.
