Let's make the extremely lengthy regular season feel more meaningless, likely reduce quality of play due to lack of trying, and replace teams with potential future MLB players on them with college players. Kids will love it!
The throughline on all of these decisions is "it will make us more money," none of it has anything to do with quality or fan interest. Stop looking for silver linings in the extremely effective front for hiding money
