I’ve come to realize the only way to get out of a dark place is by locking yourself in that dark place and embracing it, be aware of why you feel certain emotions and accept that this dark place is who you are. (Right now)
Once you’ve done that it’s then time to create another version of yourself, a whole other person that you want to walk out of that dark place and face who you really are. That my friends is the only way out of this shit.
Easier said than done,but you have to create a better version of yourself, challenge yourself daily and start building healthier habits,eat better foods, exercise, read/journal, meditate, hydrate, and get good sleep. Maybe I’m wrong, but this just feels right and makes sense.
I hope this thread helps anyone that is going through some shit.
