a small thread on why i hate saying/receiving "no problem/you're welcome":
"no problem":
first of all, why are you telling me it's "no problem", like why are you assuring me it was no problem, should have i thought it would be a problem?
i mean i get it, you just wanna assure me that i shouldn't think abt it anymore, that it was a no problem business+

but my overthinker brain isn't having it!
"you're welcome":
now DO NOT even get me started about THIS.
Like, luv WHERE exactly am I welcome???? where???? WHERE??? who even came up with this, like English wtf?

now i still sometimes use these because i think ppl will think it'll be kinda rude to not say np, but if i ever say thank you to you, now you know to not reply "np" and just like my message.
