So here is part 3 of 'Celtic' knots tutorial for my fellows that are still here! In this tutorial, we will go over how to do a grid with 1 row/column and distorting the grid squares

So let's start with a very basic 1x3 grid and add the pegs like before. See the end if unsure how
You will notice on your first set of lines that you can't go the opposite way at all, for there is no grid below. So we repeat these lines all the way along, like so.
The only way for our belt to go is around into the next squares. Then do the very ends like you would approach corners normally.
Don't forget to decorate it and make it cool! .-)
Now here we go to distorting the grid. We need to outline where we want our knot to go. Here we will do a circle, so we draw the top line and the bottom line of the grid. Then we divide it to generate our "squares".
We add the circle pegs like normal and you can already see that it can become complicated, but as long as you know the pattern- you will be able to fill it in as normal.
So like before with 1x3 you will notice that the same pattern applies here, for it is also a 1x8 in reality here in this case.
Then just follow and connect the belt through as so.
Under and Over all the way.
When you get all the way around you are done! Knots like these obviously have no corners!
Here it is quickly decorated for your inspiration!
