That afternoon was also when I brought home my computer screens and my laptop and all the other stuff I needed to work from home. I've been working remotely for six months tomorrow.

This thread has no greater lesson. Mostly, I miss seeing my friends every day and sitting in my noisy desk chair and the energy you get from being around other reporters and having a separation of work and home.
