I'm a longtime champion of paid leave policies.

Over the past several years I've led on the issue in the following ways:

I introduced the bill last year.

I have pre-filed a bill this year to provide paid parental leave to all Kentuckians.

Today, I will pre-file a more narrow bill to provide it to state employees.

In January, at 38 weeks pregnant, I hosted a documentary screening and discussion on paid leave.
