The successes of celebrities are usually well documented.

Their failures and short comings are not.

This week we are diving into Jay-Z

Jay had a rough upbringing

But was still able to persevere and succeed.

If he can make it, so can you.

Follow along.

At 11 Jay took to selling crack to take care of his family

Jay's own brother was addicted

to the same drug he was selling.

Jay was able to get out of the drug game

and into the music game.

Music ended up being way more profitable.
Before the release of his first album

He had steam going in the hood

But Jay couldn't get signed by a label.

Instead he decided to self distribute

And start his own label

Rac-A-Fella Records.

The first album Reasonable Doubt ended up going platinum.
His album, Blueprint Vol. 3 was leaked.

Jay and the album leaker were at a party.

When confronted the guy got loud with Jay.

Jay lost his temper and stabbed the guy.

He was sentenced to probation.

Jay realize his fame was fragile and decided to change.
Fame brings temptation.

Jay fell temptation and ultimately cheated on his wife.

He came out and admitted his wrong doing.

Jay has worked to get things back on track.

He has mended the relationship and

Continued 10+ years of marriage.
Jay keeps his failures close to protect his image as a winner.

Just know that if a kid that sells drugs to eat

Can be ultra successful

So can you!
