Taking a leaf out of @lottiecgross and @worldlyadventur's marvelously useful Talking Travel Writing newsletter and putting myself out there. Second child just arrived and my wife is on maternity leave - a nail-biting time to be a freelancer. Any opportunities out there... /1
... do let me know! As well as trying to carve a name for myself amongst many talented travel writers, I have successfully turned my hand to current affairs, op-eds, copywriting etc. For more of an idea of what I can do, take a look at my work here: https://davidwalsh.co/my-work/  /2
As well as editing op-eds, I have also penned my own opinions (including my own experience with depression etc). As a Mancunian reporting in the wake of the Manchester Arena terror attack, this piece was cathartic and difficult to write. https://www.scotsman.com/news/opinion/columnists/david-walsh-love-letter-manchester-1448980 /6
There are many more pieces I could post but if any of this has piqued your interest, do get in touch (through my website, on Twitter etc). I would love to hear from you and to chat about your current and future content needs #journorequests #freelancer #ForHire /8
