Because of the way intuitive stuff is portrayed in the media, folks want that "psychic pony trick show" when they come to a tarot reader or astrologer. They want names pulled out of thin air, big revelations, a future set in stone with lots of hot men. It doesn't work like that.

A reader often validates what your own intuition is trying to tell you. But if you don't trust your gut and expect the psychic pony show, you won't get much out of a reading.

If your life isn't like a Hollywood movie, don't expect a tarot reading to be like one either.
