For the last 12 weeks we have been feeding a colony of feral cats - 5 adults & 4 babies - we caught 2 of the babies this morning - took them to vet & now they’re home in their own room ... we left them in the carrier and opened the door - now we have to tame them ... !
The little tabby is as fierce as a tiger ; the tri- colour female is just pliable - I think they’ve had enough excitement for the day - but later I’ll sneak a photograph - going to have to find names for them now .
They’ve eaten & seem a little more relaxed now - we have decided to call them Miku & Emi - managed to place food in without being attacked , just 1 little hiss !
This morning we medicated Miku & Emi & wrapped them each in very soft fabric ( my dressing gown cut in half !) we rocked them touched their little faces and spoke to them for an hour - they didn’t fight - but Miku gave me a good hiss once I put him down again - fiesty !
Tonight we swaddled & medicated ; Put on some classical music ; rocked them and touched their little faces , cooing of course . Gave them dinner, they both ate whilst we chatted away. Miku & Emi played with us - feather & string is a favourite , corner turned - no hissing !
