THREAD ON HOW OUR ANCIENT GLORY IS SUPPRESSED AGAIN :
We are generally associated with Indus valley civilization which dates back to approx 5300 BCE. Some of our very own scholars, historians and westerners declared our ancient scriptures as "MYTHOLOGY or epic LITERATURE" 1/8

Some even slapped us with aryan invasion theory. Anyways so events of Ramayan took place 7000 yrs ago and Mahabharat approx 5000 yrs ago and our scriptures clearly mentions that vedic era is even more older then this. And by proofs also ours is 2nd oldest civilisation. 2/8

So according to archeologists the oldest known civilization is sumerian or mesopotamian which is more then 5500 yrs old. But wait in 2002 oceanographers of NIOT accidentally found a 9000 yrs old submerged city off the gujrat coast in gulf of cambay. 3/8

After spending weeks dredging the site and picking up over 2,000 artefacts, the niot team made some astonishing revelations. It found that the ruins under the sea were strung across a 9-km stretch on the banks of an ancient riverbed which even had signs of a masonry dam. 4/8

The submerged city bore striking similarities to Indus Valley Civilisation sites in the mainland. One of its structures, the size of an Olympics swimming pool, had a series of sunken steps that looked like the Great Bath of Mohenjodaro. 5/8

Another rectangular platform was 200 m long and 45 m wide - as big as the acropolis found in Harappa. A larger granarylike structure made of mud plaster and extending to 183 m was discernible. Which makes it the oldest known civilization or city. 6/8

So basically it debunks all the notions of history and findings. All of a sudden all the ASI activities was put on hold as congress govt didn't had money to carry on the excavations as it required expensive equipments from abroad or was it another attempt to cover our history.7/8

The probe into Cambay's true antiquity if done thoroughly could become the most exciting find of this century. But I guess no one is showing interest in this regard as it might prove that Bharat and sanatan dharma have always been magnificent and glorious 8/8
