When and how Levi will die- a painful thread
Warning- this thread contains spoilers, will be long, and based off my personal opinion for his character and his potential future.
Isayama countless times has shown us that even the smallest of details have large meanings in aot, and the same goes for his characters. Levi didnā€™t survive the explosion because of plot armour, instead, I would like to think Yams still has bigger plans for his character.
Now letā€™s think- what has Levi actually done since surviving the explosion? Restate he plans to kill Zeke, sleep, and be grumpy, but in the last chapter his character has begun to take a turn from losing his hope to gaining determination to fight again.
It is clear that Hanjiā€™s death had a major impact on Levi, and I would like to note that the first time he is able to stand on his own is when he is saying goodbye to Hanji. The significance of this is that Leviā€™s character is centred around the loneliness of being strong
- and carrying on the determination and courage of the fallen. So when Hanji, a person who has been with Levi for years, who saved him from dying and has supported him after the death of his close comrad Erwin, dies, Leviā€™s determination is reinforced.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY MAIN POINT AND PREDICTION- Levi may be one of the last people to die in aot. From a story POV, for Levi to die next chapter would prevent readers from being able to see the full extent of the weight that death has had on him, as well as readers have not
-fully seen how Levi surviving has impacted the story up to this point, which means thereā€™s no reason for him to die next chapter, and will most likely instead be the 2nd or 3rd last when we will get to see him fight and see whether he actually plans on stopping Erenor kill zeke
Now this brings me to my next point- HOW will he die. I have two predictions;
- sacrifice, which would make sense as majority of the vets (Keith,maggath, Erwin, Hanji) have done so when the situation is dire
- negligence, which would beimpactful as Levi would most likely die WITH REGRETS, thereby reversing his ideology back onto him as an ironic farewell to one of the most headstrong characters who holds strict values. (This would happen if Levi attempted to fight Zeke in his state)
Anyways, thatā€™s the end of this thread and sorry if itā€™s not worded that well I was just ranting ā˜ŗļø
