The Florida deadline for voter registration is October 5. Newly re-enfranchised ex-felons have multiple options for registering to vote.

If you *do* owe, then you still have options.

Finally, if you are having trouble getting a local authority to say you are free and clear (a common bureaucratic problem), the state can give you an advisory opinion to clear the way.

Incidentally, it's probably a smarter short-term move to pay for registration of re-enfranchised people in Miami-Dade or Palm Beach. The fine-clearance process takes too long.

I welcome any suggestions for organizations that are registering re-enfranchised people in Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, or Tampa counties between now and October 5th, through rocket-docket or other fine-forgiveness processes.
