When I read about like Joseph and Moses and co, I always Wikipedia the time period to find out the real life names of each Pharoah. It's random but it makes the whole thing realer to me.

Joseph interpreted their dreams of Senusret II. Somewhere between 5 years into the plenty and first two years of the famine, Senusret III came to power.

After Joseph died, Amenenhat III became king and (potentially) kicked off the Golden Age powered by slave labor).

Moses was raised under Thutmose I and II and was likely close to in age and raised together with Thutmose III. The pharaoh during Exodus proper was Amenhotep II (suddenly disappeared from the record and was succeeded by his wife/sis as regent—likely because his son died too.)
