Ok so this Tongan chick went to Tonga for a short vacay after divorcing her husband Ray. She needed a break. Her names Sulia (Julie).
Ray’s fam found out Sulia was in Tonga & invited her over for Sunday brunch. Pea alu Leva Sulia after all she had no beef with the in-laws.

Sulia smokes so she asked the in-laws to walk with her to the store for to buy smokes. Pea nau lue. Manatu koe lue lalo tokolahi koe fKlata atu.
So Sulia crosses the st whle rest chilled under tree & waited.
She walks in, buys smokes & as she walks out...

this guy is standing outside door. And he looks at Sulia “ei na’e iai ha fo’i taha hena ?” (U got a smoke”?).
Sulias always been a bubbly girl so she offered a couple.
Then he asked who she came with & she pointed at the mango tree to the in-laws..

& asked him if he’s ok. The guy said he’s good and he asks “e saipe ke ta ‘alu?” And Sulia replies “io, ha’u ta alu”...

2months later Sulia is back in NZ.
Now Sulia ia a clean freak, she’s loud, she’s funny, she is the best company! And she works harder than anyone I know.

Sulia lives with her sis Velonika & she lives downstairs.

We visit her to get a full update on how Tonga was bt also how she’s been since the divorce.

She seemed like she was over it (divorce) & I was thrilled Cos maaan u never kno what to say in situations like these.

So we she said she loved Tonga and made friends & also tlkd abt seeing this guy & showed me pics etc. and they hit it off. She flew over & we met him. Nice guy.
Anyway he went back to Tonga Cos we found he was married ...ha’u Ange

But Sulia seemed normal even when the married man went back to Tonga. Anyway, weeks go by & I don’t hear from her so thought she needed time.
Velonika calls to bake some cupcakes (she a sweet tooth) so I did & went over to drop them. Sulia was chillin on chair wtching TV..

Sorry my tweet before didn’t make sense LOL! Meant to tweet “he flew over & we met him”.

So I sat down next to Sulia & hugged her (she hates hugs) & I expected a “ew you gaybo get off me”. She didn’t budge, she didn’t push me or say nothing. And I was like...

I let go, I tilted my head to look at her & she looks at me “what are u doing weirdo” & I told her “umm u like hugs now?” And she said “no I don’t but I wanted today”

Ma hu ki tu’a ke ma spark (smoke) & just asked her if she wanted to go to a youth rally..she paused for a while...& thnqshe’s not in to them & she doesn’t wana go public.
Anyway she asked me if I can give her space. She needs it.

I left her alone for a 2months. Plus I had exams

Velonika (Nika) calls me & asks me to go over & help them move to their new place. & I was shocked Cos they love this place.
I go over & Sulia’s sweeping the back & Nika sitting in lounge packing. Kou tautu ke ma talanoa & I asked why they moving. Nika said Homeowner sis selling

So I help pack & then go to the back to Sulia ke ma spark & say hi Cos I hadn’t seen her in months.

Damn Sulia lost hella weight, she lookd so scruffy & lookd hella tired. so I mocked her instantly & tol her she needs help lol.. She threw the broom at me & told me to “F off”

& she never speaks to me like this unless she’s laughing.
& she stormed off.
& I brush it off and felt bad Cos hello she’s prob sad over the divorce. She was in love with him.

So I walk in & told Nika & Nika said “ignore her sis”. So we move down to Sulia’s room...
I walked in to mouldy food on plates, room was a mess & it stunk so bad in her room. Pea toe lele hake moe tuutuukina (goosebumps). So I yell out to her sis & Nika comes down. I’m like “WTF”

Nika: “Sis it’s been like this for a month or so & I can’t deal with it so I need ur help to help me clean this Cos she won’t”.

I knew somethg was wrong Cos Sulia isn’t an unorganised person. So while being confused & a lil scared we clean up. Osi pe koia, mau fkosi e toenga api

We get to new place & it’s myself, Nika & her husband Marlen & Sulia.
On the way to the new place Nika was blowing up Sulia and yelling at her to get her sh** together & stop making things hard for her.

Ta koee oku ilifia ‘a Nika kae kaikaila .

Sulia is older than Nika.

So..we’re unpacking & Sulia goes to her room. Sulia’s room is a hallway and if u sit in the lounge u can see inside her room from there.

2weeks go by. Not much to unpack, most of it done & Sulia becomes sick. With a bad a cold.
She’s been in bed sick

*Sorry Sulia’s room is located in a hallway.

So I check on Sulia and she requests water only. I give her pills and she takes them. I go back to lounge to kick it with Marlen & Nika.
All seems chill n normal.

And the Sulia calls me “Cuuuz?” Sh hasn’t called me that in months.

Im in lounge So I leaned to the side to look into her room n answered her. I could see her still laying down.
She asked me go to her.

I walk in and sit next to her & she looks up and holds my hand & asks “can u call my mum pls”. And I kinda got the freaking chills hearing her

So I called out to Nika to call their mum. Then I turn back to Sulia & ask her if there’s something I can help with, she said “no cuz but pls stay”.
Omg I immediately started crying quietly is I could sense something. But I was also scared. So I held her hand a lil harder.

She fell asleep. So I got up slowly so I don’t wake up, to go bathroom (across the hall).
I’m walking toward Sulia’s door & I could begin to smell something sooooo pungent.
Honestly it was so strong.

And So instead of going bathroom I walk out to lounge & ask Nika to come check out the smell.
She walks over and takes a whiff ....she looks at me & says “this is the smell in her old room sis” with a face so scared you’d think she saw something

So when I get scared, I get pissed off real quick. & I’m like “WHAT F**N SMELL, U DDNT TELL ME THIS BEFORE” & Nika walks to the lounge calls her mum & shouts “CAN U GUYS HURRY UP” while crying.

Meanwhile Marlen the kete elo is standing by the door looking like he ready to run

Honestly even though it was scary at the time but Marlen was kinda making me laugh a bit with his body language & facials hahahahaha

Sulia calls me again “Bella, come”.
I look back at the hallway & yell “yea what is it cuz” f that I ain’t walking to you lmao.

Sulia: I need u to turn on my lights pls & open my windows it’s hot in here.

Looked @ marlen & asked him to come with me & he follows me.

Before we reached her room the smell was so strong.
Turned on lights & she’s laying there all sweaty & has tis sad face looking at me.. She loves onesies so she’s wearing her penguin ones & she’s soaked.
I gave her more water & changed her to Another onesie.

This time it didn’t feel as creepy.
So she laid back down.

We’re in the lounge just talking abt what is possibly wrong wrong with her. My back is facing her the hallway towards her room. And marlen standing infront of me folding Xmas lights, facing me. Nika is next to me

Lolotonga pe talanoa ia, Out of the blue Marlen jumps back a little, frightened looking in Sulia’s room. & Nika & I quickly jumped towards him scared & shouted “WHAT THE HELL MAAAN”

Marlen: guys Sulia just sat up real quick. I thought she was sleeping.

We call out “SULIA U OK”

She doesn’t say morning.
I look closer & I can see she sitting up bt eyes closed.

So Nika gets hella ballsy & tells me to just walk to her and see what’s wrong.

Mate, I only got one life! U guys come with me Cos I’m gona get really mad & go fahi her

So we all walked over & marlen picked up his pace & walked up to switch, turns it on and yells “OI WHATS WRONG YOURE SCARYING US”

Sulia has this croaky voice n says “guys pls don’t shout u idiots I’m thirsty”
I realised she’s not wearing her onesie but just a singlet.

So told her to drink her water and she reaches it to it & says she’s fine. So I walked to her and sat down on the side where window side is.
She moves toward me, puts her legs out the bed so that they’re hanging off. And she asks me to grab her phone.

She types in a blank message & at the same time says to me” tel mum go home I’m fine”

She points to her phone and it says “pls don’t leave me”

So I’m slow as hell & say “but I don’t get it”.
She types again “cuz just don’t leave me pls..” but speaks n says “just leave me alone I’m fine” and giggles.

At this point I’m scared.

So I grabbed her phone & typed “is there something going on”

She grabs phone n types “yess”

So I look at her face again & she’s hella Weeping.

So I stated to speak and say “u can tell me” & this b***h shouts “GET OUUUUUT”

Dude I didn’t know what came over me but I shoved her so hard and began to weep and asked her what’s wrong.

Then her parents walk in

She starts crying & telling her dad she’s ok she’s fine..just leave her.

I looked at her dad and just kalokalo to him implying she isn’t.
And her dad storms towards her and hugs her asking “Sulia Koe ha e me’a oku hoko..Tuku ho pehe pls”

I felt like the household knew something

And her mum is yelling on the side “teekuli pe Koe ha na ke mahae ai ki tonga..koe atunga ena”

And I’m like ..”wait what?” What happened in tonga???

Ta koee the guy that fakalea to her at the shops in Tonga was a dead man’s ghost. And when Sulia accepted his request..

..to go with her, she was basically inviting this ghost to accompany her. All the way to NZ.

Found out later wen she was treated, Sulia could see him. Only Sulia. And his face was beginning to deteriorate & it scared her. he was asking her ke na ‘alu kaukau tahi back to tonga

and the whole time he was trying to rid us so he can take her.
Reason why Nika growled her in the car earlier? Was Cos she asked to go beach.
This chick was gona attempt to kakau to Tonga like she was an Olympic swimmer. Hoi

Faito’o aipe a Sulia & the lady found out this guy died at age 30. He killed himself after his gf cheated on him & he was looking for company.

So now Sulia is ok. She’s alive & well.
And this b***h tells me “u kno when u would come around, he always told me to stay away from u”

I asked her why & she said “Cos I’m annoying”

Ha’u Ange tevolo keu pa tataha ho afi .

And we all lived happily ever after.
