Racists are so upset that they can’t control our intracommunity conversations. They’re absolutely obsessed with us. That’s why they feel so smug when they get a Dominique, Calvin, Edward or Uncle Trevor as they feel they’ve finally got access not realising they don’t represent us
They desperately need these people because they use them to soothe their egos and speak over the majority. It’s the modern day equivalent of asking a house slave how they are being treated. What do you expect the answer to be?! If they were confident they’d welcome all voices.
That’s why so many were triggered by a dance. They think they own mainstream Black performers. That’s why when any are seen to ‘break ranks’ like Diversity did, they lose their minds. It’s one thing if it’s artists like Stormzy or Dave do it. But Diversity? That’ll never do!
The Black people that dare to point out that perhaps things aren’t they great here are painted as ‘angry’ and ‘scary.’ They must protect the likes of Calvin from the rest of us. But their concern is so paper thin and it really doesn’t take much to tear it apart.
Most of the people that are so upset about their pet negroes being bullied by other Black people have tweeted gleefully about ‘Black on Black’ crime. The only time they raise concerns about our relationships to each other is to protect one of their own.
And when the establishment have you where they want you and you’re trying to survive on ever decreasing benefits and your kids are crying themselves to sleep with stomachache from hunger, you’ll be looking to Black movements for tips on how to organise.
