As a complete aside to the story - look at the Guardian's picture in that article. That, film production people, is how real photographers hold cameras (and the sort of cameras they hold). I have this chat a lot when doing photo coaching with beginners. While I rarely say there are definite rules about *anything* in photography, when it comes to "how you hold a camera" you're after as much support _under_ it as possible. You can argue with this pack if you want.
(I love the man in the centre - he's nailed his Kate frame, and is looking for something more interesting that might be happening in the crowd. Always a good sign. cc. @eddiemulh)
