A lot of panic on here post GW1. Feels worse than last year and people really losing their shit. Here& #39;s my tips/stuff to remember. Or forget. Do what you want.
1. You can& #39;t have all the good guys
Salah, Auba, Mane, Aguero, KDB, Raz, Bruno, Tony....there& #39;s so many brilliant players capable of hauls. You cannot afford them all. In fact you can barely have any. It& #39;s the same for everyone. Pick your guys.

2. Quit the outcome-bias thinking
Auba was a great pick for cap in GW1. He was outscored by other caps. It doesn& #39;t mean the process was wrong. If you think your process MIGHT be wrong, analyse THAT and learn from it.

3. FPL is addictive.
IMO, gambling and FPL are very similar. Both a mix of luck and judgement, but we can get the illusion of having more control than we do, so we beat ourselves up when things go badly. There& #39;s also the potential to get addicted and for it to take over. Be aware.

4. Mind your mental health
Linked to the previous point. If you& #39;re getting unreasonably upset/angry/down about FPL, have a think about how you interact with it. FPL is not worth it if it negatively affects your mental health and relationships with others.

5. The frustration is the fun bit.
If you could do research, pick the right guys, and get the points all the time, FPL would be really boring. The unpredictability, the fails, the unexpected hauls, the injuries...it& #39;s all part of why we love it.

6. There& #39;s no one way to play
The that won last year, I don& #39;t think he watched much footy. Take hits v holding, set and forget v constant moving, xg v eye test, big at the back v all out attack...there& #39;s so many ways to play the game. Don& #39;t believe anyone that says otherwise.

7. Don& #39;t be a dick
There& #39;s loads of arseholes on twitter, some of them are on FPL twitter. Just mute, block, whatever. Don& #39;t be a dick to someone else. We& #39;re all just trying to be better at FPL.
