I didn’t want to comment about what happened recently in #Twst fandom but as I’m a part of the fandom I wanted at least to share my "Opinion"

[What happened yesterday could have been handled better]

Both sides were wrong, but IMO the fandom reaction was very exaggerated
YES, They didn’t do research about the game & it’s wrong BUT it’s normal with new things you discover? Writing your initial thoughts and guesses

So, as a player & support of the game it’s OKAY to correct them BUT in a nice way, without attacking. You know why?
1. No one will hear from you if you sounded aggressive, even when you say the right/true things

2. People who were interested in the game will turn away WHEN they could’ve searched and corrected the information so easily → More players and more popularity to the game
Yes there were a lot of people bashing about the boys’ designs and as I said above you can correct them nicely AND if they still didn’t want to understand or sounded rude then it’s okay guys!
You explained your point and cleared the misunderstanding so why fighting them?
It’s not your right to FORCE them to like/understand.
People are different. They have different ideas and opinions -not necessary right- and that’s normal

You can’t make all the people in the world to understand and agree with you and that’s OKAY.
Another point I want to mention that YES I know the game are so important to you and I myself like it so much BUT it’s still fictional

The people you attack are real, they have feelings while the character won’t get hurt no matter what anyone said
And that’s not just for the fandom but also for the people bashing the boys, I know reading someone hating on your favorite characters can make you sad but that’s not an excuse to attack them.
Cleared your point? They didn’t understand? Simply ignore and enjoy the game
Lastly, as a general rule;
Always treat people the way you want them to treat you.
Set an example for them

The world isn’t kind, but you always can be be the "kind" in this world
