The 17 years old Icelandic has been getting more and more attention which is not a surprise seeing his class performance throughout the season. I tried to highlight his strengths and weaknesses, backed-up with data as well.
THREAD
Note: his stats are compared to 53 other players (900+ minutes), who has been playing where he usually plays - LB, LM, LW, RW

makes him dangerous near the sidelines, and his huge stamina allows him to run up-and-down all day long.

TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES
Left-footed player, but can contribute with his right as well. In general, he has nice first touches and ball control, but he tends to make mistakes
under pressure. What is one of his key strength is his passes, what he executes with huge confidence and has a smooth touch on them when it's the first touch. Capable to deliver nice progressive- and line-breaking passes, or give a smart through ball behind the defense.
Even though his crosses are really sharp and dangerous, they're not that accurate - as we can see it from the numbers. Possesses good shooting technique, but he doesn't take too many shots, especially from outside the box.
Often struggles defending 1v1 situations, specifically against agile, quick attackers, as his tackles aren't that well-timed and confident. Rarely carries the ball and doesn't really go into dribbles, which is obviously an area which he can improve in.
TACTICAL ATTRIBUTES
Really versatile player and kind of a jolly-joker, as he can play in many positions, but usually an LM in a 442 system lately. Has an amazing sense to find the open spaces and he can be played really easily, as often shows himself and asks for balls.

Likes to drift inside from the left and positions himself as a '10', or frequently underlaps and run into the box when plays as a left-back. Often operates with diagonal runs into the middle (behind the striker). In defending, his marking is pretty loose and tends to forget to
take over the attackers, and he positions himself too far from his man, therefore he can't intervene crosses/shots/passes and he's often in a few metres disadvantage. Often delivers corners and in-direct free kicks, when the ball has to be taken into the box.
MENTAL ATTRIBUTES
Handles the pressure poorly and tends to make ball handling errors when he is attacked aggressively. Really likes to be involved and often communicates with the others, tries to instruct them. His work rate has to be mentioned, as it is not common at his age

to play with this level of determination, and he constantly does his job on high-speed. He often forgets to look-up before his crosses, which is an explanation to his worse crossing accuracy.
CONCLUSION
He is already extremely talented and versatile, and his passing ability, his off-the-ball movements and his work-rate are his biggest strengths. His expected numbers show that how useful is he and that how much end product he generates.

There is some room to improve in defending, that's why it feels like a bit of a waste when he's launched in left-back position. He recently earned his first U21 cap for Iceland and rumours say that Juventus heavily monitors him, which is - based on his talent - not a surprise.
