1) "Jesus didn't want to die for us but God forces him to, does this mean he's not all good?"

Firstly, for the cross of Christ to make sense & be authentic, it had to be done out of a willing heart.

John 11:10 records "I am the Good shepherd :the good shepherd giveth...2/

...his life for the sheep". This was Christ's claim. He willingly gave his life to save man. God didn't force him. God is thrice good, but he let's us make our own choices.

You might say "but Jesus asked that the cup of death pass over him" when he was on the cross..3/

..that must surely mean it wasn't something he wanted to do. But this shows his human side.

It showed that he could feel pain(physical & emotional). He was about to be separated from his Father for the first time(who wouldn't be scared?)...4/

as a result of mankind's sin he was about to deal with. He felt the pain, agonized at the thought of it but still went on with it.

It's like having to go to the hospital to take an injection. For many who don't fancy it, they visualize the prick of the needle before...5/

it gets to them. They wished they didn't have to go through this horrifying process, but know it would make them feel better, so they willingly accept it.

The nurse isn't bad for giving the injection, and as an adult, ,i'm hoping you weren't forced too. 6/

2) "If God wants to forgive, he can forgive without killing himself/son or he is not all powerful".

On the surface, this could be acceptable. I mean, you're the all powerful God, why not just even snap your fingers and forgive? Why does death have to be involved? 7/

You see, as all powerful God is, he also is TRUE & JUST. He could wave his hands and all would be forgiven, but that wouldn't make him a JUST God.

There was an outstanding debt that needed to be paid. He wouldn't let such debt be swept under the carpet. 8/

We humans could do that but because he is true to himself even when no one is looking, even though he is all powerful, it had to be paid.

Paul writes in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord". 9/

The only way for God to forgive righteously was through the payment through the ultimate sacrifice; death.

Now, because he is Love, he had to find a way of providing a substitute for this compulsory death.

He looked around decided to show mankind true love..10/

...true love is always SUPPLYING. Anyone who claims love and never gives/supplies isn't truly loving.

So in his ultimate power, he humbled himself and put his head on a stake(literally) to die, instead of man. This is the gospel..gaskiya! 11/

3) "Does it even make sense to kill yourself because someone else did evil?"

Well,this was one of the reasons a lot disciples didn't mind dying gruesome deaths for the sake of the gospel.

It doesn't make sense at all. 12/

It's simply called the "Reckless Love of God".

Lol...I, for one wouldn't mark a student correct if he arrives at this in an exam. It's not mathematically possible.

But see it this way. I follow ur tweets nd i know that, just like some of us around, we desire that Nigeria is united and would work.14/

And this happens when we begin to see ourselves as ONE.

Meaning 1 Efik woman + 1 Yoruba man + 1 Nupe woman + 1 Tiv man + 1 Igbo woman + 1 Fulani man + 1 Jukun woman +1 Ijaw man+1 Hausa woman =1 Nigeria.

I used the analogy in an attempt to shed more light on the concept of the Trinity. The Father, The Son & The Holy Spirit being ONE.

Now, through my study of the bible, i haven't come across the word "Trinity".

The word is "worded" down, but guess what? It's inferred in more verses of the bible that i could count.

Apostle Paul would many a times make reference in his closing speech;...17/

5&6) "Jesus is called son of man 81 times, he even calls everyone that does good the son of God, so why is he different?".

You're right, he is called the son of man 81 times. He is also referred to as the son of God. And it was for this reason the choice of his death..19/

(the Crucifixion) was gory.

John 10:15a,30: “Just as the Father knows me and I know the Father...I and the Father are one.”

As a result of his virgin birth which was prophecized hundreds of years ago before his birth, this would make him 100% deity and 100% man. 20/

This is what makes him different from everyone else.

I couldn't find where you said he called everyone that does "good" the son of God. He doesn't.

But he does call every & anyone who believes in Christ "sons of God".21/

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"(John 3:16)

"Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light..22/

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins" (Colossian 1:12-14).

So, these and many more is why he was/is different.23/

7) "If his mission was to die, then why did he become a carpenter and not start preaching till he was 30"

To be honest with you, i've wondered why too.

Why 30? Why not at age 5 or 20 or 28 or even 50?? Why wait till 30? 24/

Well, the only answer i came up with was that was the appointed time he was to start.

Also, he couldn't just come and die instantly. He had to learn the ways of man. If he was coming to save mankind, he sure had to have the experience of one. 25/

His experiences would be one of the reasons he would be qualified to be the substitute for mankind. About becoming a carpenter, he could also have decided to come as a wealthy king. 26/

He also could have decided to be born in the best hospital in Bethlehem back then, but he willingly chose these humble backgrounds.

I think this speaks volumes about the character of Christ, don't you think ? 27/

8)"If he dies then God took his pound of flesh, there is no forgiveness"

Oh, there was forgiveness. The gravity of what the first Adam( no puns intended) did was so grave that it still lingers till today. For God to be just, the sin had to be punished. 28/

But he found away to absolve us from the punishment and punished his son instead. That's Grace and Mercy having a fist bump right there. 29/

9) "If he comes back to life, what's the point of him dying?

You're an anime fan,so you may understand my next analogy. We know the death of one of the Legendary Sannins in Naruto; Jiraiya Sensei. 30/

I shed a tear or two when he gently sank down into the sea as he had those amazing flashbacks. Didn't you wish he would somehow come back to life?

Wouldn't it had made the story of his sacrifice much sweeter? 31/

Well,Christ rose up from the grave. The ultimate hero story if you ask me.

The prophecy of his resurrection had to be fulfilled. His rising showed us that he had power over death. 32/

And according to Roman 4:25 "He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification"
Also,And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.(1 corinthians 15:17). 33/

In summary, both his death & resurrection were greatly necessary. 34/

10) "Since he NEVER asked anyone to worship him/say he was God/pray to him, why do you still do it? Are you not following him?"
The simple and straight up answer is LOVE. The world is in need of Love. There are so many counter-fits out there that would never satisfy. 35/

John writes in 1 John 4:19 " We love him because he first loved us". Our worship is a response to his love.

Finally, it's true Jesus never heard or knew the word "Christian". The word was coined by people who saw a group of individuals behave like Christ. Most likely they did the works that he did, spoke the way he did, hence the title. 37/
