Why Monogatari uses multiple Narrators to tell its story and is formatted into 3 seasons:

Part 1/Season 1
S1 of Monogatari is told through the eyes of Araragi. It's how HE views the world and everyone in it, which sets up their original character tropes at face value.

Part 2/ -
Season 2
This season is told through the eyes of the other characters because this is how they view themselves. It gives us a different perspective and therefore destroys who S1 showed us that they were through the eyes of Araragi. This symbolism can be found best visually repre-
-tented in the OPs, which tend to show 2 versions of each character. They show us their other side, something which Araragi tended to ignore because of a personal bias towards each of them.

Part 3/Season 3
This season is the season where Araragi sees each character more for who-
-they truly are. He sees what he originally saw in each of them as well as how they see themselves. The only character that he seemed to truly understand who they were earlier on was Hitagi, hence the change in her character with each arc. We would see her soften as everyone's p-
-erception bias of her began to change. S3 is basically the closing of character arcs so we can finally see everyone for who they are and how Araragi has affected them in each of their lives, either for the good or the bad. We see both sides of Araragi depicted as himself and hi-
-s alternate self, which is the true enemy of the series. Overall this series is structured in a way to teach us not to take everything at face value and to understand that there are 2 sides to every coin and many sides that are clouded by our own bias. We should try to understa-
-nd the true nature of everything, because people are complex beings with complex personalities and motivations. Nobody can truly fit into a single shallow character trope.

This is generally why I feel that Monogatari has one of the best casts in Anime. Every character has a de-
-pth to them that supercedes your average one-sided character. Who we see as bad or good tends to be influenced by our personal bias or one-sided view of things, and these characters teach us to look even further than our own biases and to see things for how they truly are.
Of course in S2, each Narrator also has a personal bias towards themselves, which is another emphasis on why S3 is so important to round out the entire cast.
