‘Rookie report - Laviska Shenault Jr. ’

In his debut, we saw Laviska Shenault's trademark versatility on display against the Colts.

Let’s take a look at the start of his Rookie campaign and what it may mean moving forward.
Shenault played a key role on three touchdowns, one being his own.

The attention he drew from the Colts defense was evident, and should be a vital piece to what the Jaguars want to do offensively.
The threat of Shenault is just as deadly as Shenault with the ball in his hands, and Gruden knows it.

We see again, he’s going to go in motion, forcing the nickel corner, outside corner, and safety to commit a step. Creating more space for Chark to make a play on the ball.
We saw him line up at Running Back, Wildcat Quarterback, as well as in traditional alignments at Colorado, and we saw that same versatility during his first NFL action.

Gruden’s creativity is going to greatly benefit this entire Jaguars offense.
Shenault’s physicality is a big reason why he is such a threat with the ball in his hands.

Whether it's out of the Wildcat, or in motion he will be continue to be a chore for defenders to bring down.
'What does this mean?'

Shenault lined up in the backfield, out wide, in the slot, in-line and as a Wildcat Quarterback in his debut.

He is as unique an offensive weapon as there is, with a role that will seemingly expand as the season goes on.

Sky is the limit for Viska.
