Thread of the Best Kpop Songs
(All of which are my opinion <3)
Heartbreak Hotel - Tiffany, Simon Dominic
Let's talk about that post-chorus real quick?? And also the instrumentals are so gorgeous?? Wow
Platonic Love - Snuper
You know what?? If this was released now then y'all would've eaten this uP-
Hands down, one of the best songs of 2016 and 2016 was Kpop's peak so that says alot
Pretty U - Seventeen
2016 KPOP SUPREMACY!!
Angel - Berrygood
📣 I TAKE A CHANCE !! YOU NEVER KNOW !!
Everything about this song makes me ascend into heaven
Epiphany - Jin (BTS)
"People are allowed to dislike things!" WRONG!! No one is allowed to dislike this classical masterpiece
I get chills every single time I hear this song
Lie - Jimin (BTS)
Legend has it that the composition and the lyrics of this song was sent down by God himself... Just... Incredibly ethereal...
And can we talk about THE INSTRUMENTALS?? AND THE BRIDGE??
Navillera - GFriend
This song brings back good memories, they were cringey memories sometimes, still... They were good memories 😭😭 I hold this song very close to my heart <3
Sunrise - GFriend
When I say best last chorus in Kpop, you say... 👀
I Wait - Day6
In addition to this, I would like to add all the songs from their 2017 albums: Sunrise and Moonrise
All of those songs are just so incredibly timeless, they just won't grow old on me :')
Tag Me - Weeekly
I can confidently say that this is the best debut song of 2020!! It gives me kind of the "classic Kpop" vibe that I love and it just makes me happy everytime I hear it
Excited for their comeback!
Hot Potato - N.Flying
This gives me so much seratonin and I seriously love this song so much that idk what to say because it's just so damn good like actually?? Stan them already >:(
Run Away - TXT
BigHit were INSANE for that guitar
Décalcomanie - Mamamoo
"Holy shit" is how I would describe this piece of art
Give It To Me - Sistar
The strings in this song... That is all I have to say
Love Me Right - EXO
This song gives me hella nostalgia and istg... SM was on a ROLL in 2015, damn
I especially like the second pre-chorus (as shown in 0:46 in the video), just... awesome...
Good Night - Dreamcatcher
This and Chase Me were cultural resets!! Absolutely phenomenal!!
Spark - Taeyeon
Continuing yesterday's thread... Taeyeon's solo songs just don't miss! She probably has my favourite discography among solo artists and the songs I have listened to by her are right up my alley
Someone Like U - Dal Shabet
So let's talk about how iconic the second verse is because wow, she served!! And the last part of the song too... It's just awesome
Dynamite - VIXX
Let me just say, one of the greatest choruses in Kpop ever... It's perfection and that is all I have to say
Save Me Save You - WJSN
Ah, I couldn't decide on Wish or Save Me Save You but I think I love both songs equally!
They pull of the whole space, fantasy world concept so well and their songs, obviously, are amazing
Violeta - Iz*one
This was a song that I did not expect to like so much but like the other songs in this thread, it's incredibly good
I love the post-chorus at the end and I hope they would release a rock version of this song!
Snapping - Chungha
This might be tied with Roller Coaster tho... Again, like Violeta, I did not expect to like this song so much but I definitely do!
The bridge had to be my favourite part, her voice sounded amazing
Way To Go - SNSD
This song is the definition of pure joy 😭😭
Black Suit - Super Junior
This is just an awesome song all around and I loved the mv alot, the last chorus man... Chef's kiss...
I would also love to learn the choreo one day because it looks fun! Sadly, I can't dance 😊
Don't Recall - KARD
When I tell you they absolutely owned the tropical house genre!! (I now have 25 songs in this thread and I still have more songs to talk about, wow)
Pow Pow - Elris
This is my go-to cute Kpop song and it just doesn't get old for me
I love how fun the instrumentals are and it never fails to make me happy 🥺
