refusing to do an assignment until the day it's due and stressing over it but when I finally do it I endlessly mock it because it's so easy

setting down something I really need, often pencils and chopsticks, and when I go back a minute later it is gone. where'd it go? it was on a countertop in this room, but I do not see it. where'd the humoungus aquaphor go? who knows, I do not even remember how I found it again

outright refusing to switch apps because there isnt enough stimulation, and I end up being forced to play music so my brain will slow down for a second. this often causes me to scroll on tiktok for hours because my brain wont slow down to just read things quietly after

not texting back for hours because, yes, I saw the notification but it wasnt time sensitive and I'm doing something right now, and then forgetting I got a text five minutes later and not responding until the next day

obsessing over a very specific fic plot and being very distressed when there's a limited number of fics with that plot

fixating on a Very Specific genre of music and only listening to that type for days on end

wanting to write for a thing I'm making but instead accidentally spending an hour adding details to the buzzfeed unsolved Wikipedia page, from the original idea to just add that shane and ryan own the goatmans bridge
