that's why i'm choosing not to say much about it. i was around 14 when the terms tu//cute and tru//scum were coined and i was actively involved in all of that

i remember what it was like to have adults heavily engaging in discourse with and about me then, and it was really really painful and difficult. i don't want to do that to someone else

okay since apparently this wasn't clear and i've already blocked people over it: this tweet isn't for you to talk shit about kids and teens who are still figuring themselves out. in fact that's the literal opposite point of my tweet.

lgbt+ adults need to prioritize not alienating young lgbt+ people. if you have some kind of point to make about young people being involved in discourse: this isn't the post for that

this post was literally just to point out to mutuals that, hey, keep in mind that this person is 14 and we should be mindful about if and how we engage on this topic

i don't want adults adding onto this. that's completely missing my point. make your own post and stop using this post, this situation, and this 14 year old as a talking point for your discourse position
