1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis No. 4458: Jim Cramer calls Nancy Pelosi, "Crazy Nancy" — Nonverbal and Emotional Intelligence #BodyLanguage #BodyLanguageExpert #EmotionalIntelligence #JimCramer #NancyPelosi #Stroke #Lying #Deception #StatementAnalysis https://twitter.com/therecount/status/1305890820659216384
2/ Earlier today, CNBC's Jim Cramer called Speaker Pelosi, "Crazy Nancy" to her face during a televised interview. What follows is a nonverbal analysis and paralanguage analysis of that exchange.
3/ JIM CRAMER: I mean, what deal can we have, [stutter] Crazy Nancy? I'm sorry, I, th, that was the President, I, I, I have such reverence for the office, I would - never - use - that term. But it is hard, is it ...?

NANCY PELOSI: But you just did.
4/
CRAMER: Oh, come on.

PELOSI: But you just did.

CRAMER: You know what I mean. You know what I mean.

PELOSI: I know what you meant. I do.

CRAMER: The reverence I have for the office is so great...
5/ As he says, "Crazy Nancy", his head and torso lean forward with emphasis. His eyebrows were also considerably lowered. This cluster of nonverbal behavior indicates his comment was deliberate and with emphasis.
6/ As he says, "sorry", Mr. Cramer's mouth is asymmetrical. Spontaneous (nonbaseline) mouth asymmetry during speech projects the thought-feelings of:

• Insincerity
• Hubris
• False Bravado
• Braggadocio
7/ Notice, also that his eyelids aren't retracted as he reacts and says, "I'm sorry". They, in fact, are partially closed. In this context, this nonverbal combination screams insincerity and orchestration.
8/ Mr. Cramer also lifts his arms and hands with his palms forward-facing. This is an immediate push-back toward Speaker Pelosi and, not coincidentally, reminiscent of Donald Trump's body language.
9/ This palms-forward, pushing-back gesture (illustrator) is aggressive, hyper-dominant, and is a form of personal space violation from a distance. The other person (in this case, Speaker Pelosi, will feel space-violation.
10/ If this were a mistake and if Mr. Cramer honesty hadn't meant to say this — and/or if he honestly was sorry, his eyelids would have opened very wide and he would have touched his face with both hands (typically on the cheeks/jaw/mouth/eyelids).
11/ The vast majority of times, his initial reaction would have a component of blushing as well. Mr. Cramer displayed no blushing.
12/ Mr. Cramer's use of "Crazy Nancy" and then, a few seconds later, denying that he "would never use that term" and "You know what I mean. You know what I mean" — is classic condescension, manipulation, gaslighting, bullying, and profoundly passive-aggressive behavior.
13/ The first time he said, "You know what I mean", Cramer displayed an amalgam expression of Contempt-Disgust.
14/ Jim Cramer uses his alleged, "reverence for the office" of the Presidency, as a license to denigrate the Speaker of the House to her face on national television. It's difficult to find a more extreme example of passive-aggressive behavior.
15/ As he says, "I, I, I have such reverence for the office, I would - never - use - that term. But it is hard, is it...? — Oh, come on", Cramer's central forehead is contracted and elevated during which he also displays a partial (suppressed mouth smile).
16/ One must also ask, in what way did Jim Cramer just show "reverence for the office" of the Presidency? He did not show reverence. Jim Cramer displayed sycophancy.
17/ This combination of an elevated central forehead contraction along with a partial mouth smile is extremely suspect for insincere motives.
18/ Moreover, Mr. Cramer's reaction was much too quick to be sincere. If this were a true spontaneous event, there would have been a moment of shock (i.e., "I can't believe I said that!" before his response, of "I'm sorry".
19/ In addition, if Mr. Cramer was sorry and this was a true sincere mistake, his vocal tone, cadence, rhythm, volume (all vocal qualities) would have been much different. Close your eyes and just listen to Jim Cramer's voice. It's not apologetic, embarrassed, or sincere.
20/ SUMMARY: This was a practiced and deliberate act. Jim Cramer is feigning spontaneity. He's insincere. His body language, words, nor his paralanguage (statement analysis) is not at all consistent with surprise, shock, embarrassment, or sincerity.

21/ Jim Cramer does not so much have "reverence for the office" as he does sycophancy for Donald Trump. He is acting as a Trump surrogate. Mr. Cramer is not sorry. Moreover, Mr. Cramer feels contempt and disgust for Speaker Pelosi.

22/ It's difficult to imagine Mr. Cramer insulting a male Speaker of the House in a similar manner. This was a profound example of passive-aggressive, condescending, misogynistic behavior.
