Totally unsolicited advice to the @JoeBiden debate prep-team. The first time Trump attacks with a ridiculous, unsubstantiated lie (which will be minute two), stop everything and say this:

"Donald Trump is going to attack me, because he's got nothing else top run on. But know...

...that each of these attacks is an act of projection.

He says of me what he fears of himself. He's weak. He's lost a step. He's controlled by extremists. His children are grifters & the people who he surrounds himself with are fools. Each time he says Joe Biden, what he...

...means is himself.

Now, I don't want to do this. I want to talk about issues and solutions and a way forward and so I'm not going to respond to his broadsides, especially because I know that the person he thinks is the least capable person to run the country is himself."

Biden can't spend three hours chasing down every insane conspiracy theory and so he's best off just shutting it down the moment Trump starts.

Trump hates himself, but can't face that.
