Padded womb rooms
I have found some pics from opening night (in April 1968) at the Electric Theater in Chicago, not sure if they include the padded womb rooms or the guru, but I'll take a look.
In terms of sounds, there was definitely some live music.
I don't know who those guys were above, but according to this one site, the headliners were the Paupers from Toronto http://rockprosopography101.blogspot.com/2010/03/kinetic-playground-chicago-il-4812-n.html i.e. these guys
There was dancing
There was gawking
Some flirting and posing
I think I found the guru
Is this a karate guy doing security?

I gonna guess this guru station is the padded womb room. It's padded anyway, I guess.
