Here’s the thing- Pace’s entire off-season set up as a “going for it” situation with the other contracts signed.

- Set the TE market & gave a 33 year old Jimmy Graham $9M guaranteed.

- Gave a 30 year old Robert Quinn $30M guaranteed.

This can’t be a money “issue”. #Bears

If the #Bears went into this off-season knowing they had X-amount of actual cash to spend & somehow didn’t factor in Allen Robinson, that’s a big issue.

If they aren’t willing to pay him $20M per year, that’s also an issue.

Now you’ve got a situation where you’re in-season with a real distraction (players tweeting their support for ARob & National Media running with it), on top of pissing off your best offensive player.

Let me also be clear- I don’t see any way that the #Bears trade Allen Robinson unless they fall straight on their face & find themselves out of the playoff races at the trade deadline.

It’s more of the point it even got that far that’s the issue.

Maybe by Sunday the #Bears & Robinson have a deal done & none of this is even an issue but it’s clear to me that Robinson wants to be here. So get a deal done. Even if it’s a slight overpay, you’ve got a top end receiver at the prime of his career locked up.
Just. Get. It. Done.
