1) I woke up to a DM on IG this morning that blew my mind . A homie of mine that's very dope and is about to pop off in the mainstream sent me a screen shot of a text convo he was having with one of the biggest, most successful artist to ever live....

2) In the thread, out of nowhere, this huge artist tells my homie "Yo, I ran across this dude that I think you should collab with on some woke sh**" my homie asked who and this huge artist texted him the link to the music video for my song "Hallelujah All Day"...

3) The huge artist told him that we would sound good on a record together because of our voices. I won't share who they both are because my man asked me not to share private convos he's having with this artist, especially when he's trying to stay in good standing with him

4) my point is this; this huge artist is top of the top. His music is the total opposite of mine. He would be the last person on earth that you would expect to not only listen to hallelujah all day but share it with another secular artist and suggest that we collab...

5) Hallelujah All Day is overtly Christian. It's message is unapologetic and uncompromising. I myself would never play it to a nonbeliever if I was trying to witness Christ lol BUT GOD....

6) so I'm about to spill the beans on some plans I had for an upcoming project. I have been working with an established secular producer on a project. The plan was to make this my "Secular" project with hopes of casting a wider net to reach more...

7) my mindset was still reaching people but of course, because the audience would be different my approach would have to change as far as how direct about the gospel I can be... so I thought

8) this screen shot from arguably the best emcee EVER and also one of the most successful artist of all time suggesting "Hallelujah All Day" to someone, reminded me of two things. 1- you never know who is listening and 2- Just do what God tells you to do and stay out the way

9) in my mind, I got change this or not say that to reach the world because they will think Christ centered music is corny.... but this situation proved me wong lol. That song is 4 years old and made an impression on somebody many would demonize THIS MORNING lol

10) I'm just sharing this to encourage other CHH artist that struggle with which direction to take with their music. Just do what God tells you to do and He'll do the rest. He'll make sure it reaches who it was ment to. Sometimes, our man plans only hinder what He wants to do

11) Don't get me wrong, be proactive and have a plan but if God already gave you a vision and plan, don't set His plan aside for yours. My 4 year old, played out super CHH song reached the ears of the today. I could have NEVER planned that.

12) be encouraged! Be bold! Don't back down, don't be afraid! You never know who you are reaching with you lil ol Jesus raps!
