Interesting how the intro to Terry’s report claims that grievances by Sikhs against the Indian state apparatus are political theater to “seduce” politicians — yet claims that Punjabi Sikh remembrances of Muslim mobs in Partition are legitimate memory. https://twitter.com/JaskaranSandhu_/status/1305633035988152325
Is @CBCTerry himself actually an example of foreign nation-state interference in Canadian media? His talking-points are lifted straight from Indian media and his glowing praise for Amarinder Singh (while glossing over the unlawful arrests under his tenure) surpasses them.
Terry’s article was quoted by a dozen official Twitter accounts belonging to Indian Embassies in various countries, including:

Germany
Armenia
Poland
Tajikistan
Mozambique
Peru & Bolivia
Malawi
Tunisia
Azerbaijan
Cuba
Kazakhstan
Canada
Bulgaria and North Macedonia
If I ran a script + data visualization on the article/tweets it was mentioned in (may look into it) — I am almost certain I could find a disproportionate amount of the traffic being from accounts in India, maybe even exceeding the amount Pakistani accounts give to Khalistan news.
It is also interesting how @CBCTerry, who finds it appropriate to question every Sikh he meets on whether or not they condemn Parmar — has said nothing of Indian agencies interfering with Canadian freedom of speech. https://twitter.com/WorldSikhOrg/status/1305664427044241408
Terry now openly talks of a Pakistani nexus and speaks on the behalf of India foreign policy (and for Indian news channels) — but when asked to cover human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, said he was retired and not interested in Indian affairs as a Canadian.
So @CBCTerry - a question for YOU:

Do you condemn the violent actors of the Indian state that are now openly commemorated officially in Indian institutions (Indira Gandhi + Rajiv Gandhi National Airport, “Supercop” KPS Gill) that consumed lives of innocents in the 80s?
