Every trans freelancer I know tracks their income and you can pinpoint the year they started transitioning by when their income fell off a cliff :))))))

It’s slowly climbing back up but beyond the actual costs of being trans which are immense, I’ve also lost tens of thousands of dollars in income just from like .... dealing with life while being trans. which is why I’m serious that every trans person should get disability
